Psalm 56:8 "Thou hast taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Thy bottle;
Are they not in Thy book?
Psalm 59:8, 9 Awake my glory, Awake harp and lyre. I will awake the dawn.
(music plus thanks plus singing is how to start the day?)
Psalm 59:16 Joyfully sing of Thy lovingkindness in the morning...
Psalm 63:7, 8 For Thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of Thy Wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to The, Thy right hand up holds me.
Do you suppose Psalm 67 inspired the writer of "O Beautiful"? Nations are to praise God !
I cry easily. To an ad, to a sad story, to a moving piece of music... and sometimes I get this urge or need to cry. Its as if I need to look for something that I know will make me cry to relieve the stress or something. Tears in God's bottle. Wow. Does He catch those teeny-tiny ones that spot my glasses? Does He get the ones that dot my blouse? Or the ones that leak into my ears?
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of tears and the gift of laughter. Please put in my heart Your song, and on my lips, a joyful song of praise. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I love this passage. Dad used to say that God gave us tearducts for a reason, and there was no shame in using them (so I did, and do!). :-) Can you fathom a God who pays so much attention to insignificant us? He is so great...
