The "warning signs" exhibited by this particular passenger included the following: His name was Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He's Nigerian. He's a Muslim. His name was Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He boarded a plane in Lagos, Nigeria. He paid nearly $3,000 in cash for his ticket. He had no luggage. His name was Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. Two months ago, his father warned the U.S. that he was a radical Muslim and possibly dangerous." -- Anne Coulter

The news media kept reporting that "the CIA had reports of a Nigerian in Yemen who wanted to set off a bomb in the USA" as if it were all the CIA's fault and that were big news. I kept thinking that even I knew there were people in Yemen who were radical Muslims! If Yemen is a hotbed for radical Muslims training to blow things up, it doesn't seem like such a "red light going off" as maybe the media seem to think. Does it seem ironic that it is our very politically correct news media that would have been aghast if someone had been denied a visa because his name was Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab? So why do they act so outraged when Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tries to blow up a plane?
