Firstborn, our Air Force lieutenant called me just now and let the grandchild announce where they move to in August: Alaska. wow. It is a three year tour, so that is where the grandchild will start kindergarten. Lucky---to have Governor Sarah Palin as their governor.
How exciting. What an adventure for them. And Andy said that Lauren was excited because Alaska has volcanoes---Lauren majored in geology in college, and is finishing up her masters at their present assignment.
Bob said that we have always wanted to see Alaska......

1. If you are needing bi-focals, like I am, here is a tip I read on a blog: hold down the CTRL button and with your right hand, click on the plus sign to increase font size in your browser window. If you click too many times and the font is too big, then click on the minus sign while holding down the CTRL button.
2. Bob said, "right click on it!" and low and behold, it gave me spelling choices! Now I don't have to holler, how do you spell tutalage!?!

Alaska does sound exciting. A young Air Force friend of ours was there a few years back and loved it. He sent some awesome photos.
Did your Air Force Friend have his family with him?? Anchorage is pretty big, so surely...
I tried to find his old email, but they seem to be on an old computer. Our friend was single, but engaged. He bought a townhouse in a nearby village off base. I will try to find out more info.
